Ok, so I have never been a huge fan of “infused”, “aromatic”, or whatever else you wanna call them, cigars. Let’s face it people, it’s all fancy names for FLAVORED. Now with that being said, I accidentally picked up this stick and was actually quite taken with it. When I say accidentally, what I mean is this, Drew Estate advertises this as being a “natural” and “non flavored” stick, with its flavors coming from the tobaccos. Well folks, I have to throw the BS flag on this one. I do not know if it is the entire cigar that’s flavored or just the cap but this DEFINITELY has some sort of sweetener on it. With that being said, however, once you get the sweetness dialed back a bit, this is actually a quality smoke. Great filler and binder tobaccos produce a coffee and chocolate taste up front, with a smooth and buttery caramel aftertaste that lingers on the palate. I have to say that I think this smoke is a little on the pricey side for as small as it is. When I can buy a big fat hour-long smoke like a Nub or a Perdomo for around the same price I have to do the great debate before I walk out with one of these. It is a pretty good flavored stick though and even though I never thought I would see the day, I have gone back and absently picked up another of these a couple times since I smoked the first one. So give it a try, would be a great after dinner “dessert” stick for when you have a bit of a sweet tooth. Enjoy!

  1. The more I have looked into this, it looks like a mistake was made. This is an infused smoke. The local B&M’s I have picked it up at have tauted it as a non flavored. However, after some more research on the Drew Estate sites and other reviews I have read, it is clear that this IS one of Drew Estates “infused” sticks. Regardless, I gave it good marks and I stand by it. Still a good smoke. 🙂
