I will start off by saying that I am now going to use the 1-10 scale for rating, since you cant use the 1-5 scale without sounding like you really love a cigar or really hate a cigar. So with that being said, WOW, I never really thought I would come across a Gurkha that I just didn’t really care for. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good solid smoke, a bit pricey as far as I am concerned, but still a solid smoke. It just wasn’t for me. I tend to lean towards to medium to full sticks, and this was just a bit to mild and a bit to sweet for my tastes. Gurkha does a great job of infusing this quality made stick with cognac however. Once Billy, Chris and myself lit this stick up, the whole lounge immediately took notice and started talking about it smelling like a cognac factory in there. I cant say much else about this smoke though. It was crafted extremely well, tasted what it was meant to taste like throughout, and had a smooth clean draw. While it was to mild and sweet for me, I do recommend this smoke for newer smokers, especially if they are a fan of flavored sticks. What’s your input guys?? Oh, and enjoy!!

Although I did enjoy this cigar, I found it was not worth the money spent. As far as mild, flavored cigars go, the Gurkha Grand Reserve was amazing, but $12? There are better for cheaper.
