Cigar Review: Perdomo Fresco
Sometimes in this hobby of mine looks can be deceiving. I indeed found that to be the case with the Perdomo Fresco. In my never ending quest to find good daily smokables I happened upon this cigar at my favorite local shop. The price was well enough to be a daily smoker and the look was certainly lacking an expensive quality but that’s to be expected. I bought one and so began my adventure.
From the start to finish the Perdomo Fresco hit my pallet in ways I never expected. It had the rugged bold taste some of the lower-end cigars contain but hit smooth like it was one of the big boys. It had no hint of any flavors, for me, other than what it is… a delicious low cost cigar. It took me around an hour to smoke and I’ll admit I smoked it perhaps faster than I should have but every draw was better than the last. As the smoke filled the unsmoked portions to provide even more flavor I knew I had found something special.
The Perdomo Fresco has since become my cigar of choice especially when I’m looking for something to smoke in an hour that won’t break the bank. This is a cigar I would recommend everyone try at least once.
